Clinical Counsellor | Social Worker
WORKS WITH AGES 5+
I believe healing begins with connection — with feeling safe, seen, and understood.
I’m a Registered social worker and counsellor with years of experience in healthcare, including acute, long-term care, and community services, as well as mental health and addictions counselling. I’m passionate about supporting children, youth, adults, and families through life’s challenges, with a particular interest in attachment, development, and the connection between our emotional and physical well-being.
I’m especially passionate about working with children and youth and helping parents better understand the needs behind their child’s behaviour. My approach is warm, compassionate, and attachment- and development-informed, while drawing from Solution-Focused Therapy and other approaches that honour each person’s strengths.
Movement has always been an important part of my own well-being, and I’m passionate about the connection between movement and mental health. I’m a yoga instructor, have training in SPRA Fitness Theory, experience in the competitive fitness world, and have practiced karate for many years. I also love discovering the things that bring each person a sense of ease, joy, and connection, and finding ways to incorporate those into their journey.
As a mother and stepmother, I understand the joys and challenges of parenting, single parenthood, and navigating blended family life. I’m also a lifelong animal lover and especially passionate about dogs!
My goal is to create a space where people feel comfortable being exactly where they are, without judgment — and supported as they find their way forward.
